The role To take the lead role in driving new business and cross-selling opportunities at Beyondly. To be a key point of contact for prospective clients, identifying and nurturing leads, converting opportunities and delivering on sales targets aligned with our growth plans. To lead and support the sales team in the achievement of sales targets ensuring all sales progress is tracked and reported accurately, developing and executing strategies for building on successes and addressing any shortfalls. The responsibilities (there are more!) Lead and support the sales team to achieve sales targets, tracking team and individual performance and setting strategies accordingly in line with organisational objectives. With support from the Commercial Director, develop and execute the sales strategy with a focus on desired customers and profitable services. Maximise cross-selling and upselling opportunities with current customers. Research, identify and prioritise new leads and prospects across multiple service areas, ensuring they are effectively taken through the sales cycle to closing. Oversee lead generation processes, working closely with the Marketing Manager to provide input on strategic marketing and campaign activities. Analyse lost sales and competitor activity to inform future strategies. Conduct on-site visits with potential clients and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle using Hubspot. Prepare internal and external sales performance reports and maintain accuracy in sales forecasting. You will be proactive, passionate and resilient and will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills and will be a natural relationship builder, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders. To thrive in this role, you will be excited to work for a business for good, driving positive social impact while balancing this with a commercial mindset. You will think strategically, being ambitious with a desire to succeed. You will be a hands-on, solution-focused, team player who works well in a team with a ‘muck in’ approach, being flexible and adaptable. A UK driving licence will be required to carry out on-site customer and prospect visits. We require all members of staff to work from the office 3 days a week, therefore living within commuting distance to Skipton should be considered when applying.
