We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join a children’s residential service supporting up to three children and young people with Learning Disabilities and associated needs within a community-based home.

The Role
As Team Leader, you will support the management of the home and lead shifts to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the management team to maintain high-quality systems and standards
* Acting as daily shift lead, planning, organising and overseeing completion of duties
* Leading handovers and ensuring effective communication between shifts
* Motivating, guiding and supporting staff across all shifts
* Conducting staff supervision and contributing to appraisals
* Providing on-call support on a rota basis
* Organising rotas and ensuring correct staff deployment
* Participating in social, leisure, educational and life skills activities
* Supporting personal care needs, including intimate care where required
* Administering medication and supporting medical and therapeutic needs
* Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes

Essential Requirements
* Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
* Experience working in Residential Childcare – Essential
* Full UK Driving Licence – Essential
