Overview
Are you a Field Service Engineer who is looking for their next opportunity? Linde Material Handling, one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, invites you to apply. This role is based in the Colchester area.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
* Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on a range of products from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance trucks, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks.
* Engage with the full range of products and use IT systems to keep accurate records and place orders where required.
* Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver high levels of customer service and support.
* Occasional on-call support may be required; paid in addition to salary.

Qualifications and requirements
* Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Hydraulics.
* Ideally NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), though not essential.
* Comfortable using IT equipment; ability to keep accurate records and place orders digitally.
* Full UK driving license (Field and Resident Engineers).
* Willingness to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
