Responsibilities
:
1. Assemble components and systems following detailed work instructions and assembly drawings
2. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, ruler) accurately
3. Apply torque using torque wrenches and follow witness marking procedures
4. Operate and maintain machinery and workshop equipment, including overhead cranes (desirable)
5. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing workshop team
Essential Requirements:
6. Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent)
7. Proven ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings
8. Experience using torque wrenches and measuring tools
Desirable Skills / Experience:
9. Rail or heavy engineering experience
10. CNC experience, with programming knowledge considered a plus
11. Component assembly and system maintenance
12. Experience with overhead cranes and workshop equipment
