Work coach
Posted: 1 September
Offer description

This campaign has roles available in several locations. You can select up to 3 location preferences, but it is not mandatory. Do not choose locations you are not willing to travel or relocate to at your own expense. Candidates who decline an offer for any preferred location or cannot start within a reasonable timeframe will be withdrawn from the campaign.

Please note that these vacancies are not eligible for new applications for Visa Sponsorship on the Skilled Worker route for candidates without prior permission to be in the UK as a Skilled Worker before 4 April 2024. This includes reliance on tradeable points, such as the new entrant tradeable points option, as they are not listed on the Immigration Salary List. We recommend seeking specialist advice on visa eligibility when applying.

About the job

As the UK's largest public service department, DWP administers the State Pension and various benefits to around 20 million claimants and customers. DWP is committed to being an equal opportunities employer and aims to be the most inclusive employer in the UK.

* Ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and providing additional support to access services.
* Building positive relationships that encourage, motivate, and build trust.
* Developing knowledge of local employment opportunities and support services.
* Making timely decisions based on customer needs and referring them to appropriate support.
* Managing your caseload and performance effectively.

For roles based in Wales, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

We are looking for:

* Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse customers.
* The ability to understand complex information and explain it clearly.
