Graduate Mechatronics Engineer – to £31k
I’m looking for a forward-thinking Graduate Mechatronics Engineer. In this hands‑on role, you’ll develop and implement smart manufacturing and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost‑effectiveness – not only within R&D but throughout the entire company. You’ll also support the development and qualification of new valve products, using PLCs to automate testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a CAPEX-based Industry 4.0 project within your first year.
* Support existing R&D testing and automation systems.
* Assist in developing and running automated tests (hydrostatic, pneumatic, cryogenic, etc.).
* Accurately complete and report all test documentation and results.
About You
* Degree‑qualified in Mechatronics Engineering (or related field).
* Practical, hands‑on experience in a workshop or testing environment.
* Familiarity with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* A proactive problem‑solver with a passion for digital transformation and process improvement.
