Secondary School General Cover Teacher – South West London

We are working closely with a number of secondary schools across South West London who are looking to appoint reliable and confident General Cover Teachers to provide classroom supervision and support across a range of subjects.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced cover staff seeking flexible work or longer-term opportunities within secondary education.
Role Details
* Position: General Cover Teacher (Secondary)
* Location: South West London (including Wandsworth, Merton, Lambeth, Kingston and surrounding areas)
* Working Pattern: Flexible – day-to-day, short-term and long-term cover available
* Start Date: ASAP
* Type: Full-time or part-time options available
Responsibilities
As a General Cover Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
* Supporting students across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Taking attendance and following safeguarding procedures
* Providing feedback to departments where required
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working in a secondary school setting
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ECTs or experienced cover supervisors welcomed
* Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills
* Confident engaging with students across KS3–KS4
* Professional, reliable and adaptable
* Ability to commute to schools across South West London
