Job Description
Our client is looking for a Chartered Financial Planner to join their team. The job purpose involves meeting with clients and prospective clients to provide financial planning in accordance with company propositions, aiming to generate compliant initial and ongoing income for the company.
You will be taking over a large client portfolio, so bringing your own clients is not necessary. The client operates out of two offices: one near Kingston upon Thames and one in Central London. Client meetings can be held at either office, so the ability to travel between the two is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with FCA rules, guidance, and company procedures.
2. Proactively generate new business using existing clients, company-provided leads, and self-generated opportunities.
3. Handle client affairs with integrity and efficiency.
4. Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports with support from the ParaPlanning team.
5. Maintain and develop client relationships, maximizing their potential, and input information accurately into the CRM system promptly.
6. Meet revenue targets and ensure work is completed in a compliant manner that meets quality standards.
7. Adhere fully to the company's Private Client Proposition.
8. Work effectively within a team environment.
9. Respond to referrals within the agreed SLA, demonstrating team commitment.
10. Maintain appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Preferred Experience:
* Research, analysis, interpretation, file preparation, and report writing.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
* Regulated sales experience.
* Client management experience.
* Experience working with professional introducers.
* Achievement of QCA Level 4 minimum – essential.
* Working toward QCA Level 6 – desired.
