On behalf of Rolls-Royce who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for a 12 Months contract based in Washington.
What you'll be doing:
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with all HSE standards and support Zero Harm.
Ensure processes meet design intent and specifications; proactively address safety issues.
Drive a zero-defect culture and Right First Time performance; ensure compliance with RRMS, SABRe and all regulatory/technical requirements.
Apply and oversee manufacturing process controls; act as MEA/PCA signatory where authorised.
Identify and develop improved manufacturing processes, digital systems and technologies.
Plan and manage schedules, resources and costs; communicate status and resolve risks.
Implement, validate and continuously improve processes and digital systems using data to demonstrate capability.
Work with Process Owners and Commodity Leaders to drive consistent best practice.
Collaborate across teams, capture lessons learnt and share best practice.
Develop personal capability and provide coaching within area of expertise.
Maintain strong relationships with partners and suppliers to support delivery
What we're looking for:
Professionally Qualified Engineer (e.g. UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)

Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (e.g. UK IEng or CEng) where available
General understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to their business
General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business
Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes relevant to their role
