Overview
Programme Administrator (Postgraduate Clinical Education) at The University of Edinburgh. Full-time, fixed-term for 12 months. Grade UE05: £29,588 - £33,951 per annum. 35 hours per week. Hybrid working may be considered on a non-contractual basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide support for postgraduate and continuing professional development programmes and courses.
* Manage multiple competing demands and deadlines; use initiative and be proactive.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills; operate in a manner that respects confidentiality and fosters effective collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in a customer-centred environment with the ability to support students in a sensitive and diplomatic manner.
* Ability to exercise initiative appropriately and to take decisions within an agreed framework.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; discretion and diplomacy; ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels within and outwith the University.
* Ideally previous experience in higher education in a student-facing role, with knowledge of issues and policies in a higher education context.
