Job Description
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in line with company policies.
* Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of transactions within the accounting system.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment or invoicing queries.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.
* Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as required by management.
* Assist in month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
* Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
* Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
* Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* An understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
