HL's Client Operations Apprenticeship Scheme - Client Operations Apprentice
We are looking for 5 apprentices to join our Client Operations scheme in Bristol. You'll be part of an award-winning service team providing exceptional support to over one million clients. This is a great opportunity to enhance your communication skills, develop financial knowledge, and gain hands-on experience in savings, pensions, and investments.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, whether you are leaving school, college, university, have some work experience, or none at all. We provide support through regular one-on-ones with your manager, an on-the-job buddy, and a supportive team environment.
The Apprenticeship
* Complete a 15-month Level 3 Digital Business Accelerator apprenticeship.
* Gain understanding of business fundamentals, data development, and project management skills.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the Operations team with administrative tasks, such as processing client instructions.
* Engaging in data administration, including database analysis, implementation, and maintenance.
* Supporting third parties and clients via phone calls.
* Responding to queries effectively via phone, email, and in-person.
* Delivering outstanding customer service focused on client needs.
* Using systems like SpiderMail and Broker Focus to handle client queries and support colleagues.
* Applying business fundamentals, data skills, and project management to improve work processes.
* Sharing ideas and feedback in meetings.
* Assisting with projects and tasks as needed.
Role Requirements
* Minimum GCSE English & Maths grades 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent, or willingness to complete a functional skills course.
* Must not already hold a degree in a similar field.
* Ability to work from our Bristol office.
* Age 18 or over at the start of the apprenticeship (September 2025).
* Enthusiasm for working at Hargreaves Lansdown and pursuing a career in Financial Services.
* A passion for excellent client service.

Interview Process
Successful candidates will be invited to an assessment day at the HL offices.
Working Schedule
The role is based in Bristol, on a 37.5-hour week, with at least 6 hours dedicated to off-the-job learning as part of the apprenticeship.
