We are looking for a dynamic Researcher to join the team producing coverage of a live Scottish event. The contract will run from mid-July to mid-August. Applicants should provide examples of detailed research chats they have conducted with programme contributors and have proven experience in writing clear, concise briefs, ideally for event commentary. This role involves hybrid working and several days on location in Edinburgh, where filming takes place.
Our aim is to produce high-quality television programmes enjoyed by a wide audience. We are committed to representing people of all backgrounds both in front of and behind the camera, providing an inclusive and supportive environment. We welcome applications from under-represented groups in our industry.
Hat Trick Productions has noted that people from lower socio-economic backgrounds are underrepresented in their organisations and therefore especially encourages applications from this group.
Hat Trick Productions may use the Equal Merit provision when recruiting for this vacancy. If candidates are of equal merit, priority may be given to increase diversity, specifically regarding protected characteristics of ethnicity. This decision will be based on data declared by candidates.
