Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Guidewire Architect to lead architecture design and implementation within a major insurance transformation program. This role will require collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure solution quality and alignment with business objectives. The consultant will utilize their expertise in Guidewire, enterprise integrations, and cloud technologies to contribute to the project’s success
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and own the end-to-end architecture for Guidewire integrations.
* Produce High-Level Designs (HLD) and solution blueprints.
* Lead platform and integration architecture across modules.
* Provide architectural governance to ensure alignment with standards.
* Review functional and technical designs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business and technical stakeholders.
* Guide developers on configuration, integration, and customization approaches.
* Oversee integration architecture and cloud elements related to Guidewire.
What We’re Looking For
* Extensive experience with Guidewire
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect in Guidewire programs.
* Expertise in Guidewire architectural patterns
* Strong experience with Java, REST/SOAP, and event/messaging frameworks.
* Experience leading large multi-vendor delivery teams.
* Solid understanding of UK General Insurance operations (advantage).
* Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
* Desirable: Guidewire Cloud experience and CI/CD toolchains familiarity.
