Your Role as a Playworker:
You'll be a key part of our team, helping to create magical, safe, and stimulating play experiences that children will love and remember.
Key Responsibilities:
· Bring the Fun – Help plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and laughter.
· Support Daily Operations – Assist with setting up, tidying, preparing snacks, and general club duties to keep things running smoothly.
· Keep Children Safe & Happy – Supervise children with care and energy, maintaining high standards of safety and wellbeing.
· Be a Friendly Face – Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
· Get Involved – Encourage children's ideas, help with club admin when needed, and be a team player in every way.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves:
Experience working with children aged 4–11 in a childcare, school, or play setting
A love for play and a caring, inclusive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, can-do mindset
Basic understanding of safeguarding and child development
Sufficient English to ensure children's wellbeing and effective communication
Bonus Qualities (We'd Love to See):
· Experience in a play-based environment
· Relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare/playwork qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
· Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
· Confidence using basic IT for communication or admin
· Understanding of EYFS or school-age childcare standards
