We are partnered with a dynamic and growing law firm specialising in sports, entertainment, and media law.

They are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm and support the lawyers and business functions.


Role Overview

The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the firm's operations, facilities, administration, and support services. The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination across the business, helping to maintain exceptional service standards for clients and creating an organised, professional, and collaborative working environment.


Key Responsibilities


Office Operations & Administration

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the office.
* Maintain office systems, procedures, and administrative processes.
* Ensure compliance with firm policies and operational standards.
* Coordinate office maintenance, facilities management, and supplier relationships.
* Manage office budgets and approve routine expenditure.
* Oversee procurement of office supplies, equipment, and services.


People & Culture Support

* Assist with onboarding and induction of new employees.
* Coordinate staff training, development, and wellbeing initiatives.
* Support recruitment administration and candidate coordination.
* Organise team meetings, firm events, and client hospitality.
* Foster a positive and professional workplace culture.


Technology & Systems

* Act as liaison with IT support providers.
* Coordinate technology upgrades, office equipment, and software subscriptions.
* Maintain operational records and document management procedures.
* Support implementation of new systems and process improvements.


Compliance & Risk Management

* Assist with regulatory and compliance administration.
* Maintain office policies and operational documentation.
* Support data protection and confidentiality procedures.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met.


Marketing & Business Development Support

* Assist with firm events, networking functions, and client seminars.
* Coordinate sponsorship activities and industry events within the sports, entertainment, and media sectors.
* Support website, social media, and marketing administration where required.
* Help manage relationships with industry partners and suppliers.


Skills & Experience


Essential

* Previous experience as an Office Manager, Operations Manager, Practice Manager, or similar role.
* Experience working within a professional services environment.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* High level of discretion and professionalism.
* Strong financial and administrative management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable

* Experience within a law firm, media company, sports organisation, talent agency, or entertainment business.
* Understanding of legal practice management and compliance requirements.
* Experience supporting senior executives or partners.
* Knowledge of CRM and practice management systems.
