About This Opportunity
Are you excited by the idea of leading change that transforms how we work with data, systems, and strategy?
Do you love turning bold ideas into real outcomes that deliver value across the business?
If so, we want your vision, energy and product mindset in our team.
Retail Change is a fast-paced, delivery focused environment where change is real, complex and business critical. We’re looking for someone who brings experience, structure, and best practice to the table—someone who can help shape the future of how we manage change in Retail Finance and make a lasting impact.
Day to Day Responsibilities
* Own and manage the flow of work through the Kanban system, ensuring priorities are clear and aligned with business value.
* Collaborate with people across Retail Finance and the wider Group to understand needs, define requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
* Lead prioritisation of initiatives, balancing strategic goals with operational demands.
* Support the delivery of change initiatives and Python-based solutions, ensuring readiness for development and deployment.
* Facilitate regular engagement with colleagues to gather feedback, manage expectations, and ensure successful adoption of delivered outcomes.
* Monitor delivery metrics (e.g., cycle time, throughput) to spot potential for continuous improvement.
* Champion a culture of transparency, collaboration, and outcome-focused delivery.
* Lead agile ceremonies, including planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a change or technology delivery environment.
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse groups.
* Experience working on both business change and technology delivery projects—ideally including data or Python-based solutions.
* Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, prioritised deliverables.
* A proactive, adaptable approach with a focus on delivering value and driving continuous improvement.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced workplace.
* Line management experience.
