Job Title: Supply Chain Manager - Aerospace
Reports To: Director - Supply Chain
Role Requirements
Lead and manage all aspects of end to end supply chain operations ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and compliant flow of materials and components to support highly regulated manufacturing and programme requirements
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory control.
Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA/EASA requirements.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with approved suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
Manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to align supply chain activities with production schedules and technical requirements.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production continuity, especially for critical and long-lead-time components.
Ensure full traceability of parts and materials in compliance with aerospace safety and quality standards.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring supply chain readiness and supplier capability.
Maintain documentation and reporting for audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals and aerospace program timelines.
Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (AS9100, FAA/EASA, ITAR/EAR) with the ability to ensure full compliance across the supply chain.
Skilled in developing, evaluating, and managing suppliers, including conducting audits, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement.
Proactive identification of supply chain risks (e.g., single-source suppliers, geopolitical issues) and implementation of robust contingency plans.
Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating complex agreements while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Deep understanding of quality assurance processes and strict traceability requirements for aerospace parts and materials.
Capability to respond quickly and effectively to supply disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on production and delivery schedules.
Familiarity with aerospace components, manufacturing processes, and engineering requirements to support informed decision-making

Ensure on-time delivery of materials to meet production and program schedules.
Maintain continuity of supply for critical aerospace components.
On-Time Delivery (OTD) % to production/program.
Ensure all supplied components meet aerospace quality standards.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager within the Aerospace industry for 3-5 years.
Hands-on experience with supply chain management software.

BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business or similar relevant field.
