Role Overview:
Join our fantastic client's team as a Sales Controller in Wednesbury. You'll be integral in managing key accounts under the guidance of the Commercial Manager, focusing on boosting sales, efficient stock management, and superior customer service.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist the Commercial Manager in meeting or surpassing sales targets for existing and potential customers.
Generate inquiries from existing customers and respond promptly with professionalism.
Regularly assess accounts with the Commercial Manager to pinpoint opportunities and implement strategies to expand business.
Handle customer orders accurately and promptly, ensuring timely delivery.
Maintain precise records of customer data, specifications, and requirements, and provide regular reports to the Commercial Manager.
Manage stock levels within agreed parameters, scheduling and advancing stock to optimise inventory flow.
Enhance the standard of service provided to all customers, taking charge of complaints and ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
Collaborate closely with commercial managers to jointly oversee all key accounts and coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time delivery.
Continuously enhance personal skills and knowledge to bolster role effectiveness.
