About The Job
As the Director of Marketing Analytics at Skyscanner, you’ll have the opportunity to create and execute our global marketing analytics strategy. Your focus will be on driving growth through new customer acquisition and increased loyalty. You will reshape how we measure marketing success by redesigning attribution frameworks, advancing marketing mix modelling (MMM), and elevating lifetime value (LTV) analysis—generating insights to improve decision-making across the customer journey. Your leadership will guide Skyscanner’s expansion into new markets and ensure our marketing efforts are highly effective worldwide, transforming analytics into a competitive advantage.
Leadership & Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Marketing Analytics, aligning with Skyscanner’s objectives.
* Manage and grow a team of analysts, supporting their development.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the analytics team.
Stakeholder Management
* Partner with marketing stakeholders to ensure analytics informs key decisions across the funnel—from brand investment to CRM.
* Promote a data-driven culture linking marketing metrics to business KPIs.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align team efforts with strategic goals.
* Champion advanced analytics, experimentation, and automation, including market mix modelling.
* Leverage insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing channels.
Experience & Skills
* Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior leaders; experience with product and engineering is a plus.
* Strategic problem-solving skills balancing short-term and long-term goals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
* Ability to manage complexity, navigate ambiguity, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Background in marketing and loyalty analytics is essential.
* Hands-on analyst experience is required.
