Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dartford (Hybrid – UK Re-Cladding Projects)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Package
About the Company
Our client is a growing construction consultancy delivering specialist commercial support across façade and building envelope schemes throughout the UK. With a strong pipeline of remediation and re-cladding projects, they are continuing to expand their commercial team.
The Role
Based from the Dartford office, this position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with projects located nationwide. There will be travel to site as required, balanced with remote working flexibility.
You will take commercial responsibility for re-cladding and façade remediation projects, overseeing costs from pre-construction through to final account. The role requires strong contractual awareness, cost control and the ability to manage change effectively within live or occupied buildings.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of detailed cost plans for re-cladding works

Procurement and subcontractor package management

Contract administration and commercial reporting
*
Valuations, payment applications and certifications
*
Managing variations and change control
*
Risk management and forecasting
*
Final account negotiation and agreement
*
Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams
Requirements
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
*
Proven experience delivering re-cladding, façade remediation or building envelope projects
*
Strong understanding of UK construction contracts
*
Excellent commercial reporting and negotiation skills
*
Comfortable working across multiple UK sites
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
