Job Description:
CLC provide a national property maintenance service to a wide variety of clients in social housing, education, retail, commercial and hotel and leisure sectors.
Specification:
The suitable candidate should have the following qualifications & qualities:
* Minimum City & Guilds Level 3
* 18th Edition
* Relevant experience within the electrical contracting industry
* Current CSCS / ECS card
* Conversant with all aspects of electrical installations and have significant experience within Retail Industrial and Commercial sectors
* Testing & Inspection to 2391-52 (or Equivalent)
* A knowledge of BMS, Fire Alarm & Data installations preferred but not essential
* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred but not essential
Qualifications:
* Approved Electrician/ Electrician JIB recognised qualifications
* Proven experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and current regulations
* Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and management team
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Proficient in reading layouts drawings, schematics, and technical drawings
* Familiarity with electrical test equipment and hand tools
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in diverse environments
Description:
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of electricians and oversee their work to ensure high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance
* Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and timelines
* Plan and organise work schedules, assignments, and resources to meet project deadlines
* Perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
* Train and mentor apprentice’s, junior electricians, fostering skill development and a culture of continuous learning
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
* Manage inventory of materials and tools, and coordinate procurement as necessary
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently
* Carry out testing and inspecting/produce electrical certificates
