Employment Associate | Leading West End Media & Entertainment Firm
If you’re an Employment Associate looking to move beyond purely corporate mandates and into work that is more dynamic, visible and commercially engaging, this role offers a genuine step forward.
Joining a leading tier 1 ranked West End Media & Entertainment firm, you’ll work directly with high-profile clients across the creative, sports and tech sectors, advising on sensitive, high-stakes employment matters that often sit at the centre of business-critical decisions. It’s an opportunity to gain exposure to work rarely available at this level, while building your profile within a specialist and highly regarded team.
The Firm
This firm has long been recognised as a leading adviser to the creative industries, acting for a client base that spans household-name talent, global media businesses and fast-growing technology companies.
Over the past five years, the firm has grown significantly while maintaining a collaborative and non-hierarchical culture. For associates joining the team, this means access to high-quality work within an environment where partners remain accessible and genuinely invested in developing those around them.
The firm combines a strong reputation with a modern, agile way of working. You will benefit from close partner contact, early responsibility and the chance to build long-term relationships with clients in sectors that are constantly evolving.
The Role
You will join a specialist Employment team, working closely with four leading partners on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. From the outset, you’ll be given exposure to clients and the opportunity to take ownership of work, rather than operating purely in a support capacity.
Your work will include advising on complex disciplinary matters, internal investigations and senior executive exits, often in sensitive and high-profile situations. Alongside this, you’ll support on Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, as well as advising on wider strategic issues such as restructures, TUPE and global workforce arrangements.
The team works closely with the firm’s wider Corporate and Media groups, meaning you’ll be involved in matters that require a commercial, joined-up approach rather than siloed advice. As you develop, there is clear scope to take on increasing responsibility, build client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
