Senior Management Consultant (Data & Financial Services)

The Senior Management Consultant will serve as the crucial link between our client's strategic objectives and the technical capabilities of the Data Gardener platform. This role is focused on the successful implementation, integration, and adoption of our Business Intelligence, Lending Intelligence, and Responsible Procurement solutions, particularly within the FinTech, Payments, and Banking sectors.
You will apply advanced advisory skills to identify pain points, define scope, and ensure project success within the client's existing technology and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Consulting & Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client business structures, objectives, and pain points, particularly around payments, financial data, and regulatory compliance (e.g., risk assessment, due diligence).
* Solution Design & Implementation: Design and propose data-driven solutions using the Data Gardener platform. Lead the detailed planning and delivery of API integrations and data enrichment projects into client CRM, ERP, and risk systems.
* Project Management & Delivery: Oversee project delivery from inception to completion, managing scope, budget, and timelines for client transformation projects, ensuring successful integration and adoption.
* Governance & Compliance Advisory: Advise clients on how to leverage our platform to meet evolving UK compliance and governance requirements related to financial and company data (e.g., credit risk modelling, supplier diversity/procurement rules).
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical and strategic consultant for client senior stakeholders, translating complex technical insights into clear, business-focused recommendations.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in technology delivery, financial services, and strategic consulting.
Essential Experience & Skills
* 10+ years of professional experience in Technology, FinTech, Payments, or Banking sectors, with a significant background in consultancy or high-level project delivery (e.g., Director/VP level programmes).
* Demonstrated experience in Digital Transformation and managing large-scale, cross-border technology projects.
* Expertise in Regulatory Compliance and Governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI, Audit, Risk) and applying them to product/technology systems.
* Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, CSPO).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and advisory skills, capable of influencing C‑suite and technical audiences.
What We Offer
* A competitive base salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
