Parts Manager Automotive
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £34,000 + £6,000 bonus
The Role:
Youll be responsible for managing the parts department, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high levels of customer satisfaction, while leading and developing a successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department
* Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory control and ordering
* Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets
* Lead, coach, and motivate the parts team
* Work closely with service and sales departments to support overall operations
* Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with company standards
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts and dealership operations
* Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
* Commercial awareness with a track record of achieving targets
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Experience using dealership management systems (DMS)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Experience within a main dealer environment (advantageous)
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday (between 7:30am 6:00pm
