As a Healthcare Assistant in the Pre-Assessment department, you’ll bring relevant experience, a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, focus and excellent communication skills. A real team player, you have the diligence, IT literacy and passion for development and training to make a difference. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment you will:
1. Assist the nurses by recording observations, taking blood samples and any other required pre-operative tests
2. Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
3. Make sure the day-to-day operations of our various clinics run smoothly
4. Work flexibly to support our team
5. Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
6. Meet the needs of every individual
7. Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact and experience

9. Carry out administrative duties
Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital
Located in Jesmond; you will be working at one of the north easts leading private hospitals, with a Good CQC rating, we have 27 en-suite private bedrooms, 3 state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit. We offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
