General Builder

We are looking for an experienced General Builder to join our Clients Property Team. This role is crucial in making a real difference in people's lives through building repairs and maintenance. A business use van and fuel card will be provided to support travel needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Carry out general building repairs and maintenance across various homes as part of the Responsive Repairs Team.
* Tasks include digging underground drainage, repairing collapsed pipework, installing soakaways, and more.
* Conduct roofing and roof repairs, assess roof integrity, and handle guttering repairs.
* Perform re-pointing, minor rendering, tiling, and cement works.
* Manage all types of fencing installations and repairs.
* Lay self-levelling compound, flooring, and floor tiles.
* Repair brickwork and blockwork, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a Building trade, or proven experience in the trade.
* Experience working in both occupied and empty premises.
* Demonstrable good customer service skills.
* Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Full and current driving license with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
