Are you an experienced MEP (Mechanical/Electrical) Project Engineer looking to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects?
Our client, a leading organisation within the infrastructure sector, is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of critical building services across complex engineering assets, including tunnel portal buildings and pumping stations.
What You'll Be Doing:
6. Oversee and verify the contractor's design assurance activities for building services across multiple sites
7. Ensure the integration and certification of systems including:
Lighting
Electrical
Mechanical
HVAC
Power
Fire safety
8. Provide oversight during the design phase, ensuring compliance, quality, and technical standards are met
9. Work closely with internal teams to support upfront design verification and assurance processes
10. Be primarily based on-site in Birmingham, with occasional travel as required
What You'll Bring:
11. Proven experience in MEP / building services assurance within large-scale infrastructure projects
12. Strong understanding of:
Contractor design verification
Systems integration
Certification processes
13. Ability to manage and coordinate multiple technical sub-systems
14. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset
15. Flexibility to work full-time, with at least 3 days per week on-site in Birmingham
