Graphic PLC has been established in Crediton since 1968, with global manufacturing subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, Switzerland, South Korea and China. We manufacture high performance printed circuit boards (PCB) in low to medium volumes for blue chip companies worldwide. The main markets are Defence, Aerospace and Telecommunications.
We are currently looking to appoint a part time Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing Team. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic and a good team player to form a crucial part of our busy team.
The ideal candidate should be computer literate and will ideally have experience in Administration. Good excel skills would be welcomed. Candidates must be able to work as part of a small team and be willing to get involved in other tasks. The salary for this role is £26,328 per annum, which equates to £10,524.80 pro rata for a 16 hour per week contract.
Your Day-to-Day:
* Expediting overdue purchase orders and report back
* Chasing POD from suppliers & in house mangers
* Help Preparing for reconciliation for end of month accounts
* Booking in stock
* Enter invoices on our computer system
* Filing
This will be an exciting role that will offer plenty of variety to a potential candidate.
Key skills should include:
* Good administrative and organisational skills
* Numerate and good computer literacy skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and independently.
* Ability to multi-task
We are looking for someone self-confident, organised and independent to help keep the purchasing office up to date. The selected candidate will have the ability to independently chase and follow tasks to completion.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 4 hours per day. The working hours can be flexible to accommodate the right candidate.
