GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in Rotherham. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in their learning journey while working closely with teachers and the wider school team. Role Overview: As a Primary TA, you will work with pupils across different year groups, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with their learning, both individually and in small groups. Assist teachers with classroom preparation and delivery of lessons. Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning. Provide additional support for pupils with special educational needs where required. Promote a safe and nurturing environment for all learners. Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies at all times. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing attitude. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
