Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Engineer to cover a fast-paced East Midlands and M1 Corridor (Nottingham to Luton) territory. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual.
The roles will be responsible identifying, driving and delivering sales and profit growth through all channels utilising resources to best effect and implementing solution selling. You will be responsible for generating a pipeline of qualified proactively generated projects and focusing on customer account management.
Your objectives and responsibilities
* Prepare and execute territory action plans to deliver business growth for the area of your responsibility.
* Proactively manage and develop customer accounts through targeted sales calls, solution selling, and exemplary service.
* Identify, qualify and forecast opportunities utilising Lead to Order process and available business tools.
* Utilise best practice and expertise to develop sound engineering solutions and use Customer Value Propositions to unlock sales potential.
* Timely update of customer records and prepare reports that reflect your area of responsibility utilising appropriate analytical approaches and Business Information tools.
* Ensure effective matrix working in conjunction with External and Internal Support function.
Your previous experience
* You will have experience with solution selling techniques and ideally with steam or process experience in Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals or Food & Beverage sectors.
* The ideal person will have a recognised technical or business qualification and solid evidence of past experience within similar industry.
* You will be a team player with experience in field based technical sales, with a proven track record of identifying and successfully progressing opportunities.
