About The Role As a Programme Manager and Lecturer for Business and Enterprise, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and pastoral care across a range of programmes. You will play a key role in managing the student experience, from recruitment and enrolment through to achievement and progression, ensuring consistently high standards. Working collaboratively with a dynamic team of lecturers and coordinators, you will contribute to the continuous development and innovation of the curriculum. You will lead on course review, evaluation, and quality assurance processes in line with College policies. A strong focus on student support is essential, including acting as a personal tutor, managing attendance and behaviour, and liaising with parents, guardians, employers, and schools. Additionally, you will be involved in the full student journey-from interviewing and selection to induction-and will oversee student placements as required. About You You will hold a minimum Level 5 qualification in Business or a related subject, along with GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above in Maths and English. You will either already possess a teaching qualification such as a PGCE or DTLLS or be willing to achieve this within a specified timeframe. Ideally, you will also hold assessor and verifier qualifications. You will have proven experience of teaching Business within a Further Education setting, with a strong track record of delivering across Levels 1, 2, and 3. Your knowledge of current industry practices, combined with your passion for education and learner success, will enable you to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and support.
