đź§ About the Role
As a Technical Support Analyst, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues across the business. You’ll provide outstanding support across our IT hardware, software, and services, proactively resolving incidents and service requests via our IT Service Management system, email, and phone.
Your work will keep our operations running smoothly – from user provisioning to on-site troubleshooting and service desk escalation.
What you’ll do🛠️
1. Provide first-class technical support to employees, field teams, and clients.
2. Log, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests via our ITSM tool.
3. Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and applications.
4. Provision and manage user accounts in Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.
5. Own the onboarding/offboarding process from an IT perspective, including device setup.
6. Keep our IT knowledge base up to date, promoting documentation and knowledge sharing.
7. Travel to field sites and GC offices as needed, with scheduled on-site support at our Billericay office.
8. Support the rollout and adoption of new applications and features.
9. Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when required.
🧠What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience & Skills:
10. Strong experience in a technical support or service desk role in a complex environment.
11. Proficient troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
12. Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and in-person support.
13. Proven track record of outstanding customer service in fast-paced or high-growth organisations.
14. Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
15. Working knowledge of:
16. Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365
17. Microsoft technology stack (desktop, web, mobile)
18. ITSM frameworks (ITIL, COBIT)
Desirable:
19. Experience troubleshooting databases, APIs, and SaaS platforms.
20. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics.
21. Knowledge of application support (web, thick client, mobile).
22. IT certifications (e.g. ITIL, Microsoft Certified, CompTIA).
