Be Part of the Change
We are looking for a Technical Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Technical Lead, you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of a pipeline of renewable onshore energy projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Wales' clean energy future from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
* Passion for sustainability, eager for a new challenge, and ready to make a real impact.
* Hold a degree in a relevant discipline OR have professional experience in the geospatial or renewable energy sector.
* Understanding of data management practices, including quality control and compliance with industry standards.
* Practical experience using ESRI ArcGIS Professional software.
* Familiarity with web-based GIS or enterprise GIS technologies.
* Demonstrated continuous professional development (CPD).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Understanding of CAD or experience using CAD data.
* Experience with renewable energy analysis and design tools (e.g., WindPro, WindFarmer, PVsyst).
Location
We operate a hybrid working model, balancing remote work with office-based collaboration. While our Head Office is in Merthyr Tydfil, meetings and key activities will be held at various Welsh Government locations across Wales.
