The Opportunity
You’ll be part of a forward‑thinking engineering function operating a fully cloud-first platform. Collaborating with architecture, security and product teams, you'll help design, optimise, and maintain secure, resilient and high‑performing database services supporting a global user base.
What You’ll Do
* Manage and optimise cloud‑based database environments
* Implement secure and reliable backup, restore and recovery processes
* Design schemas, indexes and database structures aligned to engineering standards
* Monitor, troubleshoot and tune database performance
* Apply modern SecDevOps / CloudOps practices to drive automation and repeatability
* Uphold database governance, standards and best practices
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in database administration
* Strong background with Azure (AWS/GCP exposure beneficial)
* Proficiency in SQL, scripting (e.g., Python), and database tooling
* Experience in cloud-native environments and modern DevOps practices
* Strong problem‑solving, communication and analytical skills
* Comfortable working across both Windows and Linux environments
