Swimming Teacher

We are looking for a qualified Swimming Teacher to deliver fun, safe, and engaging lessons as part of our Swim Free programme, funded by Greenwich Hospital. This initiative provides free swimming lessons for young people from serving Royal Navy families, helping them build connections, water confidence, and lifelong skills.
What You'll Do
* Plan and deliver structured lessons (in line with Swim England standards)
* Teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced
* Monitor progress, give feedback, and adapt sessions to meet learner needs
* Ensure safety and wellbeing of all participants at all times
* Promote confidence, skills, and water safety awareness
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Swimming Teacher (ASA Level 2, STA Level 2 or equivalent)
* Experience teaching across age groups and abilities
* Passionate about water safety, confidence building, and inclusion
* Excellent communication and motivational skills
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends
* Able to commute reliably to HMS Collingwood
Desirable: First Aid certification and/or experience working with individuals with additional needs.
