Year 3 SEND Support Teaching Assistant | Psychology/Occupational Therapy Graduate Job

If you’ve got a background in psychology or occupational therapy and a passion for betttering the future of children, this role might be for you. A welcoming primary school in Denton is looking for a compassionate and switched-on Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 3 with SEND. Located in a friendly community in Denton, this primary school offers a warm, supportive environment where young children develop essential early skills and build the confidence they need for a lifetime of learning. What you will be doing

* Providing one-to-one support to a year 3 pupil with complex needs
* Helping your pupil feel calm, confident and included
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Helping children develop their communication, social, and fine motor skills through creative play and hands-on activities
* Creating a safe, encouraging space where every child feels valued and included
* Core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30


About you

* Recent psychology graduate or similar with a passion for working with young children
* Patient, empathetic, and ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners
* Great communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children
* Willing to get stuck in, learn on the job, and bring energy to every day
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
