Job Title – Skilled Baker (Late Shift)
Location – Wimbledon, London
Salary – £30,000 – £34,000 + Overtime
Shift – 8-hour shifts starting at 1pm or 3pm (40 hours per week)
Job Role of the Skilled Baker
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Skilled Baker to join a busy and well-established bakery operation in London. This is a great opportunity to work within a high-volume, fast-paced production environment that prides itself on producing consistently high-quality baked goods.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the daily production of burger buns, breads, and pastries, working with modern bakery equipment and maintaining excellent production standards.
Key Responsibilities
Baking a range of breads and pastries to a high standard
Hand moulding, mixing, and oven work
Operating machinery including mixers, conveyors, weighing machines, and moulding equipment
Working collaboratively with the production team to ensure smooth operations
Maintaining hygiene, cleaning, and safety standards
Minimising waste while ensuring consistent product quality
Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a large-scale bakery environment
Strong experience in hand moulding, mixing, and oven work

Self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail
