Duties & Responsibilities Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with curriculum needs and student requirements. Actively promote the College's Career-Focused Learning strategy, fostering strong relationships with local employers. Plan and deliver engaging lessons, ensuring compliance with curriculum schemes of work and College policies. Monitor, report, and support student progress through reviews, assessments, and feedback. Contribute to curriculum development, policy discussions, and quality assurance processes. Participate in student recruitment, including interviews and open events. Provide academic and pastoral support to students, promoting a positive learning environment. Ensure effective supervision of learners, adhering to safety and safeguarding policies. Actively engage in professional development, curriculum meetings, and CPD days. Take responsibility for managing and prioritising learner concerns and issues. Job Requirements Essential: Degree in the relevant subject or similar Expertise in relevant subject area Demonstrated enthusiasm for innovative pedagogical practices. Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse range of students and stakeholders. Desirable: Teaching qualification (USP will provide support for unqualified staff to achieve a Level 5 qualification) Experience in curriculum development, employer engagement, and course leadership.
