Summary

The Managed Payroll Specialist is responsible for full-service payroll processing for high-level managed payroll clients, handling customer inquiries via the OneSource ticketing system, and managing final settlement activities in an outsourcing environment. The ideal candidate is a payroll expert and client advocate, capable of innovative problem-solving to ensure a superior customer experience.


Responsibilities

1. Provide outstanding payroll support services.
2. Monitor tickets daily to meet Service Level Agreements and ensure high client satisfaction.
3. Manage the resolution of customer issues, including escalations, root cause analysis, and remedial actions.
4. Maintain direct contact with clients to build and sustain relationships.
5. Create and update standard operating procedures for managed payroll clients.
6. Participate in scheduled client calls and transition meetings.
7. Train new clients on Workday and OSV Payroll Processing.
8. Assist with configuring pay components and reports for clients.
9. Support testing during new client implementations.
10. Identify and resolve payroll processing issues directly with clients.
11. Support special projects as assigned by management.
12. Act as the main contact during payroll deployments and transitions to managed services.


Competencies

Education/Certification Requirements

* Associate's degree required.


Required Skills and Experience

* CIPP Certified Payroll Professional certification (required at hire or within 6 months).
* Minimum of 3 years payroll experience.


Preferred Skills

* Strong customer service skills.
* Professionalism in challenging situations.
* Detail-oriented with analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build effective relationships across teams.
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
