Overview
As a well-established Civil Engineering Company founded in 1972, we are now seeking a skilled CAD Technician with at least 2 years' experience to join our technical team. You'll play a key role in producing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models that support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects. Based in our Head Office in Eurocentral - working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, full-time permanent. Occasional Site visits may be required.
Responsibilities
* Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and terrain models for civil engineering works
* Perform volume calculations and generate cross-sections
* Interpret engineering plans and specifications to ensure precision
* Review drawings for compliance with industry standards and technical requirements
* Maintain version control and update drawings throughout project lifecycles
* Conduct site visits as necessary to gather data and ensure accuracy of designs.
* Support project managers in coordinating project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and NavisWorks.
* Degree or equivalent experience in, or a related field.
* Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
