Job Advert Description
ROLE OVERVIEW
An secondment opportunity has arisen through the need to cover long term absence. The secondment is approved up to 31st January but there is a strong possibility of it needing to continue beyond this date, and subject to approval, will be extended further into 2026. The Traffic Decision Maker role is an essential function of the Traffic Portfolio of Justice Services and the post holder line manages Central Ticket Office, Traffic Administration and Police Prosecution functions.
The role provides resilience to the Police Prosecution Team and at times there may be a need to attend Magistrates Court to present evidence in Road Traffic Act prosecutions. Although this need is infrequent, there is a requirement that the post holder undertakes the Police Staff equivalent Public and Police Safety Training (PPST)
