On behalf of UMG, we are looking for a Junior Data Analyst for a 6 Month contract based in London.
How we LEAD:
* Universal Music UK is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support UMR with data‑driven reporting and insight across artist and audience activity. You’ll help source, clean and combine data, produce accurate SQL‑based analysis, and turn partner and internal metrics into clear, actionable updates for stakeholders - making complex questions easy to understand and useful for decision‑making.
How you’ll CREATE:
* Strong SQL (accurate, efficient querying; BigQuery preferred or similar data warehouse).
* Data sourcing, cleaning, and preparation (joins, validation, reusable tables / views).
* KPI tracking and performance reporting (including partner data and stakeholder updates).
* Dashboarding & visualisation (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).
* Attention to detail and data quality mindset (spotting inconsistencies, documenting assumptions).

* Clear communication: summarising findings for non‑technical teams and responding to ad‑hoc questions.
* Organised and proactive: able to manage multiple requests and deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
