Position Title and Location
Assistant Project Information Controller (Document Controller); Building Operating Unit, 1 Appold Street, London.
Overview
You will play a key role in keeping our construction project running smoothly through accurate, secure, and efficient document management.
Responsibilities
* Partner with the Senior Information Controller to manage project information accurately, securely, and efficiently across the full project lifecycle, including documents, drawings, and models.
* Help maintain a well-structured Common Data Environment (CDE) that supports effective storage, retrieval, and archiving of information.
* Support project teams and key stakeholders in using the CDE effectively, ensuring critical information is easy to access and manage.
* Assist in running information management processes that maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems and workflows.
* Contribute to high standards of data quality and compliance, helping to align project information with ISO 19650, company policy, and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
* Help deliver training and user support to strengthen team capability and confidence in using the CDE.
Qualifications
* Experience in the construction industry, with an appreciation of the role accurate information plays in successful project delivery.
* Strong IT and administration skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
* Experience of working with Common Data Environments (CDEs) or document management systems is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work across multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with key stakeholders.
* A proactive, team‑focused approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced project environment.
