Job Overview
As a member of the Inspection team, working on the 0700‑1500 shift (38 hours/week) Monday to Friday, you will support the business in both new and existing products. You will adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety, 2 Minute Warning and Near Miss Reporting policies/procedures; ensure products meet quality standards and drawings; process paperwork; achieve section targets; maintain housekeeping; and keep measuring/testing equipment calibrated.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the business on new and existing products.
* Adhere to Health and Safety and company quality policies.
* Ensure finished products meet drawing specifications.
* Process all relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
* Achieve set targets within the section.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
* Carry out duties in line with Health & Safety regulations.
* Ensure measuring/testing equipment is accurate and calibrated.
* Perform additional duties outside of the function after satisfactory training.
Qualifications
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Team player with a positive can‑do attitude.
* Practical, hands‑on approach.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Willingness to work flexibly.
* Attention to good housekeeping.
* PC literate – MS Office Suite.
* Excellent planning and time management skills.
Physical Demands
Manual environment; lifting heavy equipment with magnetic hoists and chain/strap hoists.
