The Weavers Practice are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP tojoin our practice working alongside our established clinical team to deliverhigh quality patient care.
We are an innovative and forward-thinking training practicewith a Good CQC rating. We work closely with local practices within our PCN andhave access to the Mental Health Team, First Contact Physio, PharmacyTechnician, Health and Wellbeing Coach, Social Prescribers and GP assistants.

This position is required until 31st of March2027 with a view to a permanent contract.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a salaried GP who can work autonomously as well as part of a team for 4-6 sessions a week providing a high quality service.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a full range of general medical services in accordance with the NHS contract, including their share of home visits, appropriate administrative work consisting of: own generated admin, documents, investigations & QOF work and participating in triage.

The Weavers Practice is a large training practice based over 2 sites (Rishton & Great Harwood). We have approximately 9000 patients who are cared for by our team of 3 Partners, Salaried GP, ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA and our admin and reception teams.
Our clinical system is Emis web and our Triaging platform is PATCHS.
Job responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality primary care services to the practice population in line with the GMS contract.
Clinical Responsibilities
Deliver high quality, evidence based medical care
Provide services in line with GMS contract and prescribing guidance
Manage own administration
Maintain accurate contemporaneous clinical records
Participate in home visits
Provide face to face, telephone and online consultations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Review pathology results, correspondence and investigations
Participate in safeguard processes
Refer patients appropriately to secondary and community services
Participate in medicines optimisation targets
Contribute and attend relevant practice meetings
Support QOF delivery, participate in relevant clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
Complete referrals, medical reports and other relevant documentation
Adhere to practice policies and protocols

Qualifications
* Qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration and license to practice
* Experience working in General Practice
* Included on the NHS performers list
* Appropriate medical indemnity
* Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Experience with Emis web and Patchs
