Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director - Cwmbran, Wales

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Cwmbran, Wales for a Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director to join their team on a full or part time basis. The full time hours will be 40 hours per week over 4 days with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

The role
13. The Clinical Director will be responsible for leading the practice on a day to day basis.
14. Day to day duties include being the clinical lead for the practice as well as conducting consultations with clients and also performing surgeries.
15. The CD will be responsible for dealing with any clinical complaints.
16. The CD will manage the Veterinary rotas.
17. The CD will work closely with the Practice Manage and the Head Nurse to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice.
18. The role offers the right candidate the opportunity to streer the practice forward.
19. The role involves a mixture of surgery and consultations
20. Working alongside a team of 5 Vets, 5 Nurses, 2 SVNs, practice manager ( RVN) and reception team
21. The role offers the Vet the opportunity to focus on areas of special interest
22. The role offers flexible working pattern and shifts to suit a good work / life balance - EG to work around school pick up. They are in a position to offer full time, part time or flexi time hours that suit
23. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
24. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.
