You will support the Head Of Bakery Operations with the daily baking operations, ensuring the production of consistently high-quality products, and mentoring the wider team. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented professional with a deep knowledge of baking techniques and a passion for creating exceptional baked goods. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the bakery team, providing training, guidance, and support. Oversee the production of cookies, donuts, breads, and other baked goods, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Experienced in large scale production and operational due diligence. Develop new recipes and improve existing ones, staying up-to-date with baking trends. Ensure all baked goods meet health and safety standards, including proper food handling and storage. Monitor inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage supplier relationships. Schedule shifts and manage the day-to-day workflow of the bakery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery, ensuring compliance with sanitation regulations. Collaborate with the management team to meet production goals and drive business growth. Manage costs and minimise waste while maintaining the highest product standards. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head Baker or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Strong leadership and team management skills. Creative and innovative approach to baking. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Knowledge of food safety regulations. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
