Job Introduction DACBeachcroft has an exciting opportunity for an IT Resource & Delivery Analyst to join our IT Service Delivery team on a full-time, permanent, hybrid basis, ideally in our Bristol office. This role would suit someone with experience in a similar role, and extensive knowledge of data and analytics methods, with successful track record in developing and presenting management information. This role is key to the successful delivery of IT services to our firm, by ensuring that we continually have a consistent and actionable view of our people capacity related to current and upcoming demand. This will go right across our IT teams and ensure that our colleagues don't become over utilised, that we can make informed resourcing decisions, and that we can provide sound delivery expectations to our stakeholders. Furthermore, this role will where required take a lead on coordinating the delivery of the more complex IT initiatives we have in the department, either solely or by supporting a Project Manager. The nature of work might be highly varied, from software development to rolling out new hardware, but the aim of role will remain the same - to orchestrate the various workstreams and to ensure our SMEs can remain entirely focussed on their area of expertise. Role Responsibility (Resourcing) Develop and own the mechanisms to manage our resource planning, which may include researching and implementing software tools. Work closely with department managers/leads to understand and map the different skill-types and resources available and agree appropriate ways to co-manage them. Develop stakeholder reports at various levels of detail, which can be used to provide utilisation insight and make resourcing decisions. Meet regularly with Business Improvement and Change (BIC) and IT Leadership teams to give updates on resourcing outlook and discuss future demand. (Delivery) Create IT delivery plans (full cycle from initial scoping to BAU handover/warranty), or assist the BIC PM in doing so Coordinate detailed effort estimates against resource capacities for the plan Work closely with IT Team managers to ensure their teams are able to deliver against the plan Organise and facilitate workshops, scrums and progress meetings as required Sprint planning (where appropriate) and removal of blockers impeding IT teams' progress Monitor delivery against plan, chasing and escalating where needed Update the PM / IT management on progress regularly and as needed. The Ideal Candidate Key experience Previous experience in similar roles related to resourcing or delivery, in IT or a similar service environment A good working knowledge of data and analytics methods and tools, with previous success developing and presenting management information A good understanding of IT departments and their key services applicable to large enterprises Exposure to project management / PMO methods and tools (desirable) Exposure to Agile delivery methods (desirable) Experience of resourcing methods or tools (desirable).
