LOCATION: Redbridge, East London
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge, East London, is seeking a Year 5 Cover Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2026. The school is looking for a confident and capable practitioner with strong behaviour management and the ability to engage and motivate pupils across Key Stage 2.
About the role: Year 5 Cover Teacher
· Teach and cover Year 5 classes across the curriculum
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons when required
· Manage behaviour positively and effectively, maintaining a focused learning environment
· Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progress
· Work collaboratively with the KS2 team to ensure continuity and high standards
· Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
· Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
· Full-time & Permanent position
· January 2026 start
· Primary school located in Redbridge, East London
The ideal candidate: Year 5 Cover Teacher
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs may also apply
· Strong behaviour management is essential
· Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2
· Confident delivering lessons across the curriculum
· Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
· Excellent communication and organisational skills
· Motivated to help pupils achieve their full potential
